This policy explains how Marriage Biodata Maker ("we", "us") handles information when you use this website and our biodata maker. Your biodata contains personal details, so we have tried to keep this page short and plain.
Details you enter into your biodata
The details you type in to build your biodata, such as your name, date of birth, education, occupation, family details and photo, are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to our servers.
Because the information stays on your device, we cannot see it and we cannot recover it for you. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, your saved biodata may be lost, so download a PDF copy once you are happy with it.
Payments
Downloading a PDF is a paid feature. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Razorpay, on its own secure payment window. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered there and are never seen or stored by us.
We do not ask for your email or phone number ourselves. Razorpay's payment window asks for the contact details it needs, such as a mobile number, and handles them under its own privacy policy. We receive back a payment reference so we can confirm the payment, and a record of it is kept on your device so your download is not lost if something goes wrong.
Information collected when you visit
Like most websites, the services that host and deliver this site may record basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of the visit. This is used to keep the site secure and working, and to understand how it is used.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses your browser's local storage to keep your biodata on your device. If we add analytics or other cookies in future, we will describe them on this page.
Sharing your biodata
When you download or send your biodata, you decide who receives it, and recipients may forward it further. To protect yourself:
- Use a parent's or guardian's phone number where possible.
- Share your city, not your full home address.
- Leave out ID numbers, bank details and exact workplace addresses.
- Send it directly to families you have a reason to contact.
